ROAM MLS status changes occurred on September 12th. Most of the changes were for the status name so that they are consistent across all systems. For example, Contingent is now called Open Pred. Contingency. For a list of all the changes, click here.
The biggest change surrounds the Withdrawn status. It has been renamed. Under the new statuses if you cancel your listing agreement you should move the listing to canceled status. Any listing in withdrawn status was updated to canceled status on the 12th.
If you still have a listing agreement but will not be publicly marketing the property for the remainder of the agreement move the listing to Withdrawn status and upload the Withdrawn form (found in MLS documents) to the listing.
Canceled – We canceled the listing agreement
Withdrawn – We still have a listing agreement but the property will not be returning to market
Hold – We still have a listing agreement but need to take the property off the market temporarily
