The city of Saint George has just been added to the MLS! We are working to reassign all Active and Pending status listings to the new city name. To keep accurate market statistics, sold, withdrawn, or expired listings should not be updated. MLS users should take the actions below.
Actions:
- If you have a listing within the city’s boundaries, update the city to Saint George.
- A map can be found at https://stgeorgela.net/about-st-george/city-maps/#gsc.tab=0
- Update your searches and saved searches as necessary.
- If you want results from both Baton Rouge and Saint George, include both city names in your search results.
- If you want results from just the city of Saint George use the Saint George interactive map layer. (instructions below) This will pick up any listings within the city’s boundaries even if the city name has not been updated yet. Once all the listings have been updated agents can go back to using the city name field instead of the interactive map layer.
How to use the interactive Map Layer:
1. From the search form click on the Mapping search field
2. This will open the Map search. From here click on the layers icon. It looks like three sheets of paper stacked on top of each other and is located on the left side of the action bar above the map.
3. This will open the available map layers. Click on the checkbox next to Approx St. George, LA Interactive layer.
4. A purple shape should be applied to the map. Click on the purple shape to search within its boundaries. If done successfully it will display all listings within the city.
5. Click on Criteria in the top left corner to be brought back to the regular search form.
