On February 13th ROAM will be making 3 updates to the Paragon system.
1.Removal of Bayou Board of REALTOR MLS Areas
All MLS areas beginning with the letter B will be removed from Paragon. Listings in those areas will have the Area field set to “None”
Action: If you have a saved search that uses one of the areas that begin with B you will need to use a different field to filter the search such as parish, city, zip code, or by drawing a shape on the map.
2.Changes to Utility Electric Feature Group
To move towards a standard features list across all ROAM systems some options will be removed from the UTILELEC picklist. The options that are being removed are:
- Generator Only
- Underground
Action: Users with listings or saved searches with one of the above options selected will need to select a different ETILELEC option. None and Unknown will remain as options.
3.Changes to how concessions are recorded [THESE CHANGES ARE POSTPONED]
ROAM is changing how concessions are recorded so that more details are available for users. Four new Concessions fields will be added to the Sold information when closing a listing. The fields are listed below. The system will auto sum the four fields to populate the Concessions Amount Field.
- Concessions Closing Costs
- Concessions Property Improvement costs
- Concessions Financing Costs
- Concessions Other Costs
Field Rules: 1) If Concessions = Yes/Y, then the sum of the four fields cannot be 0 2) The sum of the four fields must be less than the List Price.
Action: None. If an office admin or personal assistant closes out your listings be sure to provide information for the four new fields.
