MLS rules require that the listing broker/agent report the buyer’s agents that are specified on the purchase agreement. Only the buyer’s agents that are on the purchase agreement can be reported as the buyer’s agent to the MLS.

How do you get the team lead reported as a buyer’s agent in the MLS?

For the team lead to be reported as the buyer’s agent they must be listed as one of the buyer’s agents on the purchase agreement.

Even if you include the request elsewhere in the purchase agreement, the listing broker is still obligated to report the buyer’s agents as specified.

Section 2.13 Reporting of Buyer’s Designated Agent
When reporting Sales to the MLS, the Listing Participant is obligated to report the Buyer’s Agent(s) as specified on the Louisiana Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell as the Buyer’s Designated Agent(s).
